Fucken Day

What do you do when your bosses wife is an incompetent bitch who fucks up the bank reconciliation every month and then trys to blame you??

What do you do when you really want to email her and say fuck off you ignoramus?

You sit here and your blood pressure goes up and you get agitated and then you go home and drink!!

Ha, I have had this!!!!!!! I had a boss who blamed me for THEM not being able to pay the bills... they also blamed me for stealing $4500 because she could not understand how to look at accounts... I left after 6 months, it was that or a nervous breakdown I think.

So your liver pays for her faults? Not good Jules.

No job is worth that kinda anxiety.

I take a couple of deep breaths, (ok, about 100) then after a strong coffee I 'deal' with the situation. But as I HATE conflict I always take the passive approach which tends to be to go and talk to them with something along the lines of "I'd really like to talk to you about the bank reconcilations as I can't understand whats going wrong", then once your sitting down going through the problem you can side wammy her with the subtle remarks such as "thats odd, I didn't do that", or whatever the comment may be so that she can realise where the faults are occuring.
I don't know if this exact senario would work in your situation but its always good to find some way to sit down and go through the problem without the person feeling like your blaming them. Hopefully as you work through it, it will become blatently obvious to them that they have caused the mess themselves.

It's shite working for a boss who's wife works within the same company. The last place I worked at, for several years, was family owned. I nicknamed the wife Spetic Knuckles cos she was foreve chewing on her friggin nails, ewwww. When I resigned, she looked me in the eye & said very sarcastically 'You can't afford to stop working'. In just as a sarcastic tone, I informed her that my husband was earning more than her husbands salary, her salary & mine put together, so yes I could 'afford' to quit. It grated her tits no end & gave me a shit load of pleasure :-)
