Some of My Peeps ...

have been having "big" things happen in their lives.

My 35 year old sister-in-law found out she has a 13 year old brother. Her dad is on the birth certificate and all. But is still trying to deny it.

My 31 year old sister lost her voice for three weeks, and she's a teacher.

My cousin won a bronze medal at the Olympics.

My brother, who moved to Brisbane in October last year, got a payrise to $110,000. Wanker.

My best mate got engaged and had an engagement party where we had to dress up in a Kiwiana theme. Blair and I went as Maoris. It was great fun.

Another good mate left her abusive husband. Good one, about time.

Blair has reconnected with one of his brilliant good mates. They had a fall out about 6 years ago and haven't spoken since (he was doing P and Blair hit him up about getting help - in front of his workmates!! He gave that up a couple of years ago and is on track). He lives in Toowoomba with his 24 yr old girlfriend and is working in the Mackay mines and apparently earning over a hundy grand a year for only working four months out of the year?? Blair has loved regaining his connnection and is thinking of moving us to Mackay or Toowoomba!!

One of the guys who raped me is in jail. His dad (who was the one that walked in and found me naked on the mattress the morning after the rape) was on the front page of the Saturday newspaper, it made me very upset.

I have had great great great couch time. More episodes to come.

What have you and yours been up to??

Man, you and yours have been really busy. Some good, some not so good but it sounds like you are taking it all in your stride. Move to Toowoomba, that's where all my friends live and I grew up! I love Woombie!

Me, I've been on the couch too. Was so rundown that I came down with a really nasty head cold.

My news? All in a post I wrote just minutes ago.

Lots and Lots goin' on in your life eh?

My sister and Uncle and their families live in Toowoomba andwork for the mines on Massive money (scott is 29, no formal qualifications, worked his way up and is now on $280,000/year. ) Seriously, if this is what youwant to do - do it.

Just curious, is the scumbag in jail for raping someone else? Justice eh?

Jeez Jules, there's a heap gone on in your life just recently - seems like the couch time is really paying off.
One of the hardest things I've just recently had to do was write a 'congratulations' letter to someone, for being married to her husband for-fucking-ever. She meant the world to me as a sprog. He sexually abused me from around the age of 4. I dearly wish I could spit the whole fucking thing out, but my parents now read my blog & it'd kill them, so I wrote my 'congratulations' & added another silent wish that the fucker just keels over & dies.

great to hear some positives in there. The mining industry over here is booming and there is big money to be made if you don't mind the isolation.

I've been having lots of couch time too but I feel I deserve it after having given birth last Friday ;-)

So... a quiet time all round was it?

I prefer Toowoomba but Mackay is okay...just very humid...

I hope the mongrel bastard who raped you never sees the light of day... that is an abominable thing...

Big news! I can help you with contacts and employment in mines, especially Mackay and district.

You should definitely consider moving there if you can. My friend lives in Nebo and pays less than $50 a week in rent in a subsidised home with her kid and mining husband.

He earns 130 and she earns 70.

Seriously. Go if you can.

Haven't forgotten about you. Have dropped my friend an email about recruitment ideas and what to do. She'll get back to me soon.
