New Job New Outlook

I start on Wednesday.

Office Administrator for the South Island branch of a truck company that makes and services big rigs.

I am starting up the role, no one been there before.

So it's official.

My husband is now a house bitch.

So I will saving hard for the big move, June next year. I so wanted to run and go June 23rd but had to be realistic and not throw my family into turmoil. So we are going next year, a good 12 months to get sorted.

Good for you! There will be new beginning, new surrounding, new people to interact with. I am sure you’ill enjoy that.
About this house bitch of yours… Try to remember all the blaming and reproving moments your husband has put you in while you were at home (a la: you have been at home all day, what makes you so tired? etc etc) and use the possibility to give some of it back to him.
Best wishes,

Whata great turn of events! I didn't see that coming!

Congratulations firstly. How exciting for you.

It certainly cannot do any harm having Blair in this fulltime role.

Congrats on the obscene 4 letter word thing Jules & I genuinely hope you enjoy your new position. Like you say, it'll give you time to make some proper plans now & providing Blair doesn't fuck things up any more, you should be well on the road to a new life in 12 very short months :-)

Congrats on the Job!!!

Gotta love the house bitch - did you write him up a position description?? hehehe Mine would be useless, he can't even find the garlic bread in the freezer even when I tell him exactly where it is!

A 12 month plan. Sounds good to me. Good luck.

Good on you. Just make sure Blair knows what his new job entails - if you are working full time & he is full time house hubby then he does ALL the housework, cooking, cleaning & child care - you DO NOT come home & have to do it all!!!!

Good luck, a new beginning :-)

Sounds like an "interesting" place to work - hope it all pans out well and make sure he brings you your pipe and slippers when you come home and put your feet on the coffee table

Good stuff. I'm kinda glad that you're assuming a role that asks for YOU as a woman, not YOU as a mother/wife.

I reckon it might be good for ya.

AND it'll give Blair a taste of what you gotta do every day at home, for free!

xx
