Gidday 2008

I spent NYE mopping up the vomit of each and every one of my 3 daughters.

It was sad but all part of being a mum.

The poor wee cherubs all have vomiting bugs.

So .... now Blair has it and I am sitting here waiting for the next attack of vomit to come my way.

All is quiet on NEW YEARS DAY!!

So, what did your sexy arse get up to???

Mine was oh so quite. Watch fireworks in the park then vegged in front of the air con all day cause it was literally too hot to leave the house.

I hope you don't get the bug too :(

Happy New Year to you and your family Jules. Lots for you to look forward to this year that's for sure.

I had my family over as usual. Guys playing and arguing over the pool table, the kids playing in the pool and the chicks eating and drinking all night - a normal night really in my household during the Summer :)

God bless your motherly heart Jules...you'll be mopping up their vomit for another decade yet... or more...Once my lovely Don allowed eldest to vacumn up her younger sister's vomit one time because she couldn't stop dry retching whilst trying to clean it up... but they didn't tell me... and I don't vacumn often. I was out buying toilet paper or somat

OH, I send you sympathy, best wishes and a big bucket. Poor Jules.

My night was spent watching an old Robert Redford film on ABC television with my little boy. We went to bed about 10ish.

Yep, we both sound like crackers going off don't we? :)

Oh you poor bugger, hope everyone recovers quickly. I stayed in too; no spew to clean up though. Just watched a couple of DVD's, fell asleep to the popping of fire works going off somewhere nearby.

Happy New Year & all the best for an awesome 2008!

Yep, big difference between the days of being young and carefree on NYE to those of being a mum! Hope your girls are feeling better now.

Oh Jules, I hope everyone gets better real soon! We just went to a party to watch fireworks from the roof, nothing too special. NYE is always a bit of an anti-climax for me. Happy New Year all the same and look forward to what 2008 brings our way :-) x

Mine was pretty quiet - watched the box & hit the perch just after 1a.m. Felt awful when Mike said Grandma was determined to stay up, cos she didn't know if it'd be the last new year she'd see in. Blinding. Went for a run with the Harley guys to a posh resort in the desert, had a divine late lunch & hit the perch early again.

Hope the family gets over this vomit bug PDQ Jules! *hug for you*
